We are less than 20 years away from a Republican-controlled Congress rubber-stamping impeachments of successive Democratic Presidents, using the Comer-Jordan level of evidence-free kangaroo trials.

jesus the Palm Beach Police really sought arrest warrants against underage Epstein victims for coming forward and cooperating, and (purported) admitting to crimes, and it caused the victims to become uncooperative with the federal investigation

This past year my wife and I purchased a vintage portable stereo record player. We are using it to play vintage Christmas LPs. Sound quality is impressive.

Our 40-something sons and their 40-something spouses are watching the auto changer change records as if it is witchcraft. Literally stunned.

Ah, yes. The fans of the Mets, a team that has made the playoffs twice over the past four years, are certainly more aggrieved than Angels fans. Because why? Because New York sportswriters are tired of Angels fans getting all the attention. Seriously. That’s their reasoning.

If science wishes to end male pattern baldness, they need to start researching the increasing growth efficiencies of hair follicles found in the ears of old men.

It’s pretty much official.

Apple has come out with an IOS update process that will mandate backing up my phone, resetting it to factory default, and restoring later.

Simply because their update and update process are so bloated it won’t fit on my phone as they have encouraged me to use it.

I find myself going through these days coping by assuming that all this mess will immediately be undone with the next (sane) administration.

But what that means is that we are now parked in a country where government policy and actions are temporary, and brief.

It’s now chaos as government.

Steven Spielberg gave us an alien film for adults, intelligent and intriguing and humorous and uplifting.

And he gave us an alien film for children, suspenseful and again humorous and uplifting.

All that’s left is for Steven Spielberg to give us an alien film that scares the crap out us.

We need to campaign for a political policy where it becomes usual and customary for a new government to fund the necessary repairs to itself and to society resulting from oligarchy overreach by creating a special tax on the oligarchs.

Stop them from doing leveraged buyouts of a healthy economy.

WHO AMONG US hasn't sat down 11 times with a journalist and a tape recorder only to be shocked that they'd publish stuff we talked about?

The DNC needs to start a project to research and document all this crap, with a platform plank in upcoming elections to flush it all out of our government agencies. And pay for all the effort out of a new billionaire tax.

Any chucklehead conspiracy theorist who believes the government is spraying chemicals behind commercial jet airplanes, is logically required to also believe that other commercial planes have giant vacuums that are hoovering up real clouds when they pass through them, as can be seen overhead today.

What I find most insane here is the intellectual elite of the Republican Party has openly come out in the broad open light of day and exposed how they are so much the power behind the pulpit.

Unelected asshats openly threatening a sovereign government of one this nation’s State Republics.
Their closing message to Indiana: change your maps to artificially benefit the President's political party or 'roads will not be paved' as punishment.

They are openly saying this.

Who would want to live in a country that works like that?

Quick history lesson: in WWII, Hitler and top Nazi leaders dismissed reports of a U.S. factory capable of building the super complex B24 Liberator bomber at the rate of 1 per hour. A main reason was that the workforce would be women and POC.

DEI built 6,972 bombers, helping crush NAZI Germany.

A government whose entire existence is reliant on social media interference from foreign governments manipulating their base, is thinking of destroying the American tourism industry by vetting foreigners based on social media activity. Don’t even bother trying to make send of it.
Foreign tourists could be required to disclose 5 years of social media histories under Trump administration plan
The Customs and Border Protection proposal would apply to travelers from more than 40 countries.

Just keep this in mind: any Congressional Republican Healthcare Savings Plan as a key part of their “solution”, is really them saying:

“We will cut you a small tax break in exchange for handing over wads of money to our Wall Street donors, as you save up to pay for your own medical catastrophe.”

This breaks my brain.
Every real economist in America warned at the time he was imposing tariffs that it would affect each of these things, and deportations have affected the ability of farmers to access labor. This is all happening because of one man.

Tariffed farmers into bankruptcy. Tariffed them back into their happy red caps, ignoring the ones lost to suicide.

All by picking the pockets of we American consumers.

The NFL works way too hard to make things incomprehensible.

One blade of white grass at the front of the end zone? TD! One blade of grass at the sides or the back? Out of bounds!

Catch, two toes in, fall down, drop the ball? TD! Catch, land, take a step, take another step, lose the ball? No catch!
December 8, 2025 at 7:20 AM
That’s a bad look, NFL. 31 of your fan bases are already convinced that y’all are favoring the Chiefs, so when a Texans drive reaches the red zone and the refs,
A) take away a TD,
B) take away a 1st down, then
C) take away a second 1st down…
forcing Houston into a FG,

it all looks , uh, ungood.

This line of Republican-leaning Kentuckians backing up the lines at their local food bank must surely be that Democratic hoax Trump keeps warning us about.
"I have never seen the line this long at this food bank, This is 4x the size of every previous year...the line wraps around the building a second time..Everyone is freezing and an older lady in line had to be taken inside because she looked like she was about to pass out from being too cold..."
