Tesla has never been about sustainable energy. You could make 3 Nissan Leafs with the resources going into the Model-S, Tesla's launch vehicle. It's always been a vanity label, until recently when Musk and DoGE shat all over themselves and many of the vain buyers won't even buy a Tesla..

More than likely it's complete bullshit. I've scoured the Web for references and none of the articles list any credible sources for the claim. If there are duplicate communication devices in any solar inverter they are there for redundancy just like Tesla is doing.
