The National Equity Atlas, from PolicyLink and ERI, has released a new indicator: Chronic Absenteeism. Chronic absenteeism is defined as missing 10% or more of school days.

With this new indicator, we are taking a closer look at the structural barriers keeping students from the classroom. 1/2

New data from UCLA Center for Neighborhood Knowledge reveals stark disparities in ICE arrests across states.

- Non-citizens in the highest-arrest-rate state were 30x more likely to be arrested than in the lowest.
- Arrest rates strongly aligned with Trump 2024 vote share.
