I just spent the last week working at the library of the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They even let me come in when the library was closed. I highly recommend it if you need publications related to Germans outside of Germany before 1945!

I contacted Sen. Cornyn’s office about NIH cuts a couple of weeks ago. His office responded that he supports the NIH. Meanwhile, his social media account is cheering on Musk. I’ll be calling again asking why he wants to defund MD Anderson and Baylor College of Medicine.

As someone who went to TX public schools K-12, I’m hoping Abbott’s and Patrick’s push for school vouchers get defeated in the special session.

I hate packing, and this weather isn’t making it any easier. However, I am looking forward to the GSA!

Got my annual mammogram and COVID booster done today, so now it’s time for a treat while grading!
