this isn’t a project i’m tackling now but i figured since goodsmile finally opened up their nendoroid face maker for US shipping i should go ahead and get a rufus and cinnamon made. i have some other doll parts and clothes already but the sticking point is always going to be the hair.

when i left for my walk this morning i passed a crow absolutely feasting from this ice cream cup. when i passed again an hour and a half later, it was picked up and flown to this nearby tree.

when i first started collecting cels 15 years ago, normal cels were in the $30-100 price range, getting into $500+ only for iconic scenes or opening cels. this is the market now, mostly normal cels going for $300+.

anyway that’s all for now. i’m basically at the limit of what i can do with her before getting into really custom stuff. i’d like to make her a proper dress sometime, and i have some stuff to start making the collar. i’d like her horns to be a different shape, too, and add claws to her hands.

this doll doesn’t sit as easily as my big luts ones, something about the seat makes it hard for her legs to bend enough and maintain their position. but she’s so cute sitting.

i’m finding that opting for the larger bust has limited what pre-made clothes will fit her lol. this dress mostly fits, but the seams don’t lay entirely right. i’ll have to do custom clothes eventually, but for right now i’m really liking this dress.

i am not a labubu person but i do think they are a net positive in my life considering i wouldn’t have fallen in love with dimoo without them.

like i can’t accurately describe how this makes me feel, but it does, and they’re all like this

so i got this book in the mail from @pantspants.bsky.social and i’ve been taking it slow because theres so much, and almost every drawing hits me in the same way good poetry does, where it creates this feeling that can really only be expressed in this particular way. might be the best art book i own
