I'm really sorry you get the fuzzy end of the lolipop, but saying that many Albertans are cheering this on is just true. For context I'm in Ontario and people blame me for Ford all the time. Don't take it personally. Just fight like hell against them.

the major miscalculation is that nothing brings Canadians together faster than a threat from the US. There are some Maple MAGA idiots running around, but the conservatives who support them are starting to drop in the polls, so that might be helpful.

it's not a question of boycotting, I just don't want to eat food manufactured under American laws and regulatory frameworks. Canada has much higher food standards. That it helps Canada is kind of a bonus.
