Almost 3 years ago, my cofounder and I gathered in a chalet for a week, thought about this very problem, and became obsessed with it.
It's nice to see people like @moskov.goodventures.org talk about it. The market is slowly moving there as it becomes disillusioned on autonomous agentic judgment..

Almost 3 years ago, my cofounder and I gathered in a chalet for a week, thought about this very problem, and became obsessed with it.

What the author is missing here, I think, is that many saw this coming 15 years ago at the birth of the tea party movement.
The cancel culture and woke orthodoxy was a reaction to visible progress of backward hateful ideologies. We’d still have Trump and Ye with or without these newyouth movements.
