Site Update #1: I’ve now displayed all artists on a single page and added a search feature. Previously, I only showed artists grouped by the first letter of their names. A big thank you to the user who provided this feedback to improve the user experience. #kpop #fashion #buildinpublic

I did manual email outreach to various site owners (blogs, media, and related websites in my niche) last week, requesting a review of my site or a backlink. So far, only one has replied.

Kidding aside, To accelerate my learning, I invested in @dannypostma.com 's SEO course. My dream is for koreanoutfits.com to rank on Google's first page when people search for "Korean outfits." #buildinpublic

SEO is one of the main reasons I started this project—I wanted to learn and master it. While the results so far haven’t been impressive, I can see some progress even though I don't even know what I'm doing LMAO 😂

Next is Pinterest, and this is where I’m most optimistic since my website is all about fashion. So far, I’ve only gotten 3 outbound clicks, but I’m still experimenting with different CTAs. I also made the font size larger, though I’m not sure yet if that will lead to more clicks. #buildinpublic

Instagram has been the toughest so far. I’m not sure if I’m shadowbanned or what, but my reach is pretty low compared to other accounts in my niche. I’m not sure where I’m going wrong. I posted two reels, and the reach was disappointing compared to my YouTube. #buildinpublic

I forgot that the page gained a single like yesterday.

The impressions and engagement have been great, but the conversion rate (from Facebook to my website) is still zero haha 🫠. But it’s only been two days, so I’m not too concerned. The best part of this strategy is that my content can be easily reposted multiple times #buildinpublic
