Maybe issue is where our talent comes from. We export excellent actors for fun but they nearly all have the same background. Maybe we need more rurally poor born and raised in the arts and then we might see more of it reflected back?

I dunno i live in rural britain and my towns facebook community page is exclusively people complaining about off lead dogs in the park and. inconsiderate parking in tesco. But I get what you are saying. A country with a culture as diverse as ours should be able to make more of it than we do.

I think since class is so different in America it makes programs like this possible. In a hypothetical uk version the duttons would be posh or just straight up criminals.
