An algorithm keeps ticking, on the edge of who I am. Clouds of fiber-optic glass bow low. Cold burdens drip into my mind. My jealousy stutters— an old processor that doesn’t know itself. I am a glitch. Not a flaw, but a signal, a flickering light in a system endlessly building on itself. I choose the path of fractals: small, unassuming patterns unfolding into a landscape larger than the storm. Gratitude, the key. No shelter from rain, but a gate— and I open it. I know: the system cannot heal. Every glitch pierces a hole in my chest. But I stay. I grow. I breathe myself whole. Like a circuit, I carry the current: closed, charged.
