A drawing done with black fineliners and shaded with light purple marker. It depicts two women, one wearing a long dress of light flowing fabric and with very long wavy hear, some of which is gathered on top of her head into a bun. She is holding the other woman in her arms, her head resting against her chest. The other woman is wearing a padded gambeson, a belt with a sheathed sword on it, pants, and boots. Her left thigh is bandaged, with a dark patch of blood in the bandage, and other unbandaged wounds in her stomach, left arm, and forehead. Her face has several scars. Both women's eyes are closed, and the second woman seems to be clinging to the first as though seeking security or comfort from her.

Hey fellow artists, is it normal to have a work that takes you months and months to finish, just because whenever you think about continuing, your brain just goes "meh"? Been working on this on and off since spring, last I touched it was in August...😬 #art #drawing
