It is one more symptom that democracies are in deep crisis. Call it an institutional crisis? A crisis of values? I don't care. It needs to be addressed. Urgently.

I'd like to expand on my recent thought that "peace" with Russia, or better put frozen conflict, will be a prelude to a bloodier war in a year or two. This next war with Russia will spiral over and devastate Ukraine further.

Magadan oblast holds a proud record with 86.49 divorces per 100 marriages.

Here comes a question "Why marry at all?" with such a rate. To which I have no answer except for a guess that people like their ceremonies.

Such values can be nicely represented by Maria Lvova-Belova, Commissioner for Children’s Rights in Russia, responsible for the war crime of unlawful deportation of children from occupied areas of Ukraine along with Putin.

Russians that I sometimes interact with on social media often act offended. Claiming everyone is Russophobic. But I keep saying, with conviction born from digesting Russia’s news for many years, that no one on earth mocks Russians as bad as their own leadership does.
