I started thinking about this after it was pointed out to me that the chime of the Bell Shrines quote from a chant called Dies Irar. When I read the English translation of the lyrics found it is about the dead being brought back to life to face judgment and pleading with God to show mercy.

Another interesting tidbit while the devil eats some going past the devil in the frozen part of he'll allowed one to ascend mount Purgatory and climb to meet God.

I think it's from the beating of the Fey being wings that keeps it cold. Thus could be an illusion to the beating of the devil's wings in the Devine Comedy causing the he'll to freeze.

So I found myself thinking about the frigid temperatures of Mt Fay, and looking at its hight compared to the citadel I can't assume it's temperature is due to altitude.

The one exception is the Green Prince. Verdania may already be dead but believe that wich ever heart you don't collect will be left to support nature's recovery after the ending. I like to imagine the Green Prince restoring Verdania if you don't collect his heart.
