It is especially dumb considering some of these same tools end up in Apple Stores all over the world to facilitate repairs ranging from changing batteries to swapping screens.

Former Apple engineer here that has visited the Foxconn factories in China multiple times around the 2010-2015 time frame. None of the tools used in assembly of an iPhone require “small hands”. Designing fixtures to require a certain stature is an idiotic thing to do.
