I bet that part of the tree opens up if you’ve got the password.
I found it in a strange place recently. A wastewater treatment facility lol. It’s designed so the water flows through a series of large ponds. The plants seem to be doing well and the ducks love it. Plus, no smell!

Insane YouTube recommendations pull, especially for a Northern Irish person. This is like the 10th *FUN* chemistry video in a week.

I feel like this is:
a) true
b) a personal attack

I impulsively bought a bonsai tree without any understanding of the work involved in maintaining a bonsai tree. At least I have a very good reason to research and spend money on special plant scissors. Here’s a pic from yesterday, I’m about to trim it back a good bit

SD card readers eventually disappear into a void, like how every so often the dryer claims a single sock as sacrifice for its work. I just attach large things to them now like the pic lol

And lastly, for sticking around here’s some amusing stuff that I remembered to screenshot for you time! `Thanks! :)

So I set to find the group order post for the books I now own...

AND THIS IS THE ORIGINAL USENET ORDER FOR THE BOOK I HAVE IN MY HAND.

I found some cool historical information regarding my 4.3BSD manuals! Somehow, I stumbled across a Usenet post to organise the printing of the manuals I have! For context, mine are USENIX Association books, not the original copy that would have been used at the University of Berkeley.

Hello again!!! I am feeling confident enough to post stuff all up in your internet tubes, so get the vasaline.
To preface, I don't like politics. I barely understand how other humans work (plus it's boring).
I see a lot of people are really angry about the T man. You should read this pls! (6long)

I have not managed to get the 4.2BSD manual pages scanned yet. This is because Hewlett-Packard are working with the forces Hell and have sealed the scanner with infernal chains.

The parish priest has advised I have the machine exorcised.

So here’s some nice pictures from walking recently instead.

Btw if you’re reading this “GDT Manager”, Jody called and left a message that reads:

“ MFG ADK, SDL, SCS, Con(?). DP Manual -> ADK,
UNET! SOL! ADK
Migration issue?
4.03 - 5.0 “

Yeah man, totally understand, me too.

The System Managers manual is awesome. I’m late 20s, so it feels like I’m reading an elder scroll of the operating systems I love messing around with today. BSD isn’t a direct ancestor of Linux, but I *IS* a direct ancestor of the PlayStation 5 Kernel. Coool

I managed to get 2 of the series, although there are some others I didn’t get like the supplementary documents. The user manual (blue spine) is the the man pages. It’s man pages. There’s the classics but there are some cool commands, particularly a few that reference the OS’ ties to DARPA.

First thing. Cool eBay find. 4.2BSD User manual. This particular version is interesting as it’s the first to have TCP/IP. Also interesting is that the version of TCP/IP used in this release isn’t compatible with 4.3 onwards. Because it broken in some way I don’t quite understand yet.
