I've always thought the jumpsuit effect was overlooked in futurism. I don't think utopia is possible where individuals unique identities are expressed through material possessions. If they aren't wearing jumpsuits, it's going to be dystopian.

I have hypergraphia. Ghostwriting, poems, academic papers, short stories, novels, letters, (sometimes to strangers) scripts, I wrote fake books for the book reports in high school, sometimes just pages and pages of what the neighbors are doing...

I call it Bluski because the short long syllable combo and variance in consonant type is unnecessarily fussy. Bluesky sounds like business class airport lounge filled with people asking about your LinkedIn.

It isn't the borrowing, it is that they are trying to avoid paying it back. They've been using social security as a piggy bank and are worried about the bill coming due. The boomers, god bless em, had a crazy surplus.

Native New Yorkers are a different breed. I visit NYC and you can tell. They can somehow scoot over to let you squeeze into a bar stool while simultaneously not acknowledging your existence. Hyperaware yet totally impervious.
