A federal judge, Rita F. Lin, has ordered the National Institutes of Health to release hundreds of millions of dollars in research funding that had been frozen at the University of California, Los Angeles. Thank you, Judge Lin!

USAID, founded in 1961 as the primary U.S. foreign aid agency, is now under threat of being dismantled by President Trump. Signs outside the USAID building have been removed, the agency’s website went offline, and its X account disappeared.
