She stayed for an hour. She wasn’t exactly happy about it, but wasn’t miserable either. We will try again sometime soon. For now, she’s happy to be back home with me.

I haven’t been on social media much in June. Sending both of our kids off to college in August is going to be a huge change, so I’m really focused on my family this summer. I’m sending love out to you all though! How are you doing? Did I miss any big news? Also, Lily says hi! (once she wakes up)

I seriously considered not putting up our Pride flag this year, because the world is a scary, but my husband reminded me that we put it up to show our kids & their friends that we are a safe place for them. Not feeling safe ourselves makes broadcasting that idea even more important.

Despite my desire to have a productive day, the dog has decided that this cozy rainy morning is perfect for catching up on sleep. She hasn’t even eaten or gone out for her morning walk yet! It’s 2 hours later than usual! I guess we’re just to snuggle all morning. It’s out of my hands.
