Better than I remember? Near impossible: I listen to this monthly and each time it presents as an unsurpassed masterpiece.

It’s probably one of the best pop albums of all time, right alongside MJ’s Bad. There is just so much dance in it, in every nook and corner.

Cool Metric haul. Too bad the Staind guy went Trump cuck.

The breath of Old Man Winter, my fellow traveller. You know his exhales well, I’m sure.

I respect your game. I never got into these guys, and don’t think I’ll make progress now. But they really were iconic in the ‘goth black’ scene.

I played in a band that opened for them in 03 in Toronto and they were pleasant fellers.

That’s a sick shot. Imagine that buffet had the red plastic glasses stacked right by the silverware.

How incredible that would be.

Oh cool. I’ll check this out then. I’ve never gone past Wolves.

Did I not get enough test-time as a babe that as a 40 year-old typos bend me out of shape?

Clearly.

But let me fix that shit and make up lost time.

This is one of the best albums I’ve heard in years. No joke. It is so, so, so good: composed and beautiful and soft and anthemic.

Not a full-out Pumps stan. But fuck if this album won’t make me one.

*Eek. Minus the ‘faux’ 😊

I can smell the Doc Martens in this album.

Nirvana’s Unplugged also proved that Cobain can actually sing.

Sure, no one pulls off the upper-octave distortion in the chorus of Teen Spirit without chops.

But the bro could spit pitches like a boss, but Unplugged demonstrated that with aplomb for the normies out there.

Great album. The sound of chill.

One of the greatest albums ever written. Embarrassed to say it didn’t cross my desk until my late twenties.
