2. You are your historian. Physicians take account in what you tell them. Make sure you’re getting the details correct. Write them down before the appointment. If you got nervous at the appt and forgot to provide a detail; CALL BACK! They want your info. You are not bothering them. Work together. ✌️

I tell you, remember you were invited to the gathering. Someone wants you there (probably more than one someone). Simply considering the invite says you have hope it can go well. If you felt otherwise, you’d immediately turn down the invite. Follow your hope. Try. Don’t let memory loss isolate you.

This is a system that desperately needs help. It’s not fun waiting on hold for the work-from-home nurse to stop what they’re doing to pick up the call. It is also not fun to hear their kids in the background while you’re trying to convey information. For some careers, work belongs at work.

This is tricky. Not all physicians update their med lists. It’s always best to trust the patient first. Just because doc prescribed it, doesn’t mean patient is taking it actively.
