Also and additionally though things did used to be more simple in this regard: there WERE way less sick kids, because there were more dead kids. Pretty simple.

I just got into a back and forth with someone who was very certain Christians were not doing any good in the world. Some people who don’t understand the foundational principals have made a bad name for a religion with a lot of potential for good. But we need people on board, this is it!

WHY do we keep pretending that the president can sign an ai drafted letter and that we have to listen to it and dismantle the government? That’s not how our system works. That’s not legal. It keeps happening?

Generally I discourage people from thinking the economy is an immediate cause and effect situation. Usually it’s a lot more complicated. But not this time this is pretty straightforward.

I have to do something biweekly called “time and effort” where I do my teaching job all week and then I also punch in on a website programmed by a child in the 90s how many hours I worked and what I did. I have solidarity at this time

This is so true about everything that’s happening and I keep getting in fights with my husband about it. Yes they are doing terrible things. No I do not believe those terrible things will be permanent.

Here in MN I feel it, I hate it! I wanted to go ice skating today and I couldn’t because EVERYTHING IS MELTED at a time when traditionally the lakes would have ice 2 feet thick.

I really wish it was more normal for us to just shut down every nonessential thing when the weathers bad. Sure we COULD suck it up but why? No one wants to deal with that. I sure don’t want to cross kids in -15 up here in MN. That’s losing fingers territory.

I hate wearing masks, they irritate my skin and are a sensory nightmare. But if I’m leaving the house under the weather, I’m not about to deny others the respect and I’m sucking it up and putting on my kn95. No one else needs my germs.
