Forgot to post last week, but I'm posting this week for Throwback Thursday! This time how about a batch of electric Pokemon flatties!?
A midnight Lycarnroc is slamming down with a powerful force onto an Ampharos who has been squashed incredibly flat and spread onto the ground! The Ampharos is wincing as they're squished. A Pikachu Pop Star is posing in a cutesy manner ontop of a very flat and spread Pikachu rug. The Pikachu Pop Star is looking pretty happy while the flattened Pikachu is looking very rectangular. Zebstrika is seen squashed down on the ground in an almost rug-like fashion, while 2 Rapidash are seen walking ahead of them, implying they were the ones to trample the Zebstrika. Zebstrika is looking quite annoyed in their trampled state. Lanturn is squashed very wide was a Swampert is on top of them, looking like they just ground pounded onto them. The Swampert is looking somewhat surprised while the Lanturn is both squished flat and is submerged in the water.

Welcome to another Throwback Thursday! This time I'm posting a post about Flat Fox... Sorry, it's Star Fox. Either way enjoy a batch of Fox McCloud squashed flat. #Flattening #Flattened
Fox McCloud finds him squashed flat underneath a Charizard standing over him. Fox is smooshed in a mostly pancake shake, looking up in shock as Charizard looms over them with tail raised and looking down angrily at Fox. Fox McCloud is laying on the floor completely flattened in a sprawled out pose with a surprised look on his face. It seems like the boulder steamrolled over him to squash him. Fox McCloud is stuck to the side of a building in a completely flattened state. It looks as if he tried to jump out of the Arwing, but failed horribly via splatting on the wall. Fox McCloud is crushed and defeated by his rival Wolf O'Donnell. Wolf stands over fox in a cross-armed, looking down at his prey. Fox is stuck in a bent down (Mario Party style) pose, squashed flat.

It's time for another Throwback Thursday! Because I feel the need to be resilient lately, how about a Steel Type Pokemon themed post... Ironic considering they can also squish just as much as other Pokemon. #Flattened #Flattening
A Bisharp is seen being squashed down completely by a Machoke's punch. The Bisharp is looking angered as he's looking up with arms out to the sides, being completely crushed onto the ground. Meanwhile the Machoke is looking down and kneeling as he's punching the Bisharp down. Tyranitar is enjoying a nice sit in a happy place, but at the cost of Cobalion feeling much flatter. Cobalion is seen squished flat underneath the Tyranitar, with their legs outstretched front in back. Their expression cannot be seen but could be assumed to be annoyed. A trio of Lions are gathered in one place, but with the largest one also being squashed flat. Luxray and male Pyroar are seen standing tall and proud on top of a flattened Solgaleo. The Solgaleo lays on the ground squished with their legs all facing forward, the expression in their eyes look quite angered. A Landmaster is speeding across the highway as it steamrolled a couple of things along the way. Aggron is behind said Landmaster in a face down sprawled out pose completely flattened, with their head tilted to the side showing a surprised expression. As a bonus, Fox McCloud can be seen squashed underneath one of the Landmaster's treads, also face down and sprawled out, but not as clearly seen. Falco is on top of the Landmaster as if giving it the order to charge ahead.

I was playing Mario Party 7 the other day, playing as Dry Bones. At the end of the game Birdo was jumping on him while they were both near that top. Somehow, this made it to where Dry Bones remained half-flat for the entire time it took for the screen to fade to block. #Flattening #Flattened.
Both Birdo and Dry Bones being seen celebrating winning the mini-game next to the smaller spinning top in Spinner Cell. However, Dry Bones is stuck in a half-flat state, remaining squashed as he's still celebrating winning the mini-game.

So there's a LOT of Blender files I have of just flat characters that I keep swearing I'll use at some point in a scenario... But I either can't think of it or motivation won't let me. So here's some WIP stuff either as sneak peeks or concepts. #Flattened #Flattening
Lizzik from Fortnite in a somewhat reaching out pose as he's been squashed face down. His face is obscure due to his position but his tongue can still be sticking out. Vulcanus my Dracthyr Evoker from World of Warcraft is flattened in a somewhat sprawled out face up pose. It looks like he was reacting to something that crushed him flat with ease, being stuck in a very shocked expression. A gang of Semibots from Repo where most of them are flattened in various ways. The White Semibot is looking at the rest of the crew who are squashed flat. The teal Semibot looks to have been flattened head first to where only its legs and arms are mostly seen. The purple Semibot is flattened in a sprawled out pose with their mouth wide open. Lastly, the red Semibot is flattened in a mostly sideways position looking as if crushed mid walk or run. A Silvaegis from Pal World who finds themself squashed flat against a wall. It looks as though the Silvaegis was mid walk pose before being smooshed into a sideways flattened state. They have a wide open mouth in surprise along with their eyes being swirls from being dazed.

Time for another Throwback Thursday! Decided this week I'll do another post of Pokemon Kart, this time featuring Delphox against some boulders. #Flattening #Flattened

Fifth Team Sapphire post: This is Jasper the Arbok. He has special eyes that help him and the team seek out precious gems and treasures in dungeons. He is always excited to collect another shiny gem for his collection. #Flattened #Flattening

Fourth Team Sapphire post: This is Orion the Houndoom. He is an ex-outlaw who was forced to join the team to avoid arrest. Of course he tends to be a real jerk to everyone even though he's supposed to be working on reforming. #Flattening #Flattened

Orion the Houndoom is flattened, also wobbly and floppy as he is walking in his squashed state. It looks like Orion fell victim to a piston trap and isn't quite stuck under it this time. Orion looks incredibly angered and annoyed as Rico the Piplup is cheerful and laughing at Orion's state while Eve the Galvantula is looking worried about both Orion's state and the possibility of traps up ahead. Orion might have been able to recover to normal, but he is too stubborn to ask Rico for Heal Seed or a berry to do so.

Been in a specific mood cause of the upcoming Mario Kart, so how about for this Throwback Thursday, I re-introduce my Dry Bones character, Ozlac! He's a goofy guy... who's squished around a lot. #Flattened #Flattening
Ozlac finds himself completely squashed flat on his back thanks to the Whomp looming over him. While Ozlac is squashed, a lot of his bones are scattered around and disconnected while being relatively close to his shell. Ozlac is looking directly at the Whomp with his jaw somewhat unhinged. Ozlac is squashed into a mostly pancaked shape with the Sneasel, Young Zuko, looking down at the results. Ozlac looks worried while being stuck in this predicament. Both Ozlac and an Alolan Marowak are steamrolled flat from a steamroller passing by. Ozlac is squashed somewhat face down as some of his bones are separated giving an outstretched look. The Alolan Marowak is stuck to the roller of the steamroller with arms raised and a disgruntled look in their eyes. Ozlac once again finds himself crushed flat by a Whomp, but this time he is stuck to the Whomp's back. It looks as if Ozlac was just trying to walk by with the way he's posed, but unfortunately for him he's been squished mid-walk and mouth wide open in surprise.

A bunch of Mario enemies are navigating through Whomp's Fortress while trying to get squished. Monty Mole was squashed flat by a Whomp while being sprawled out on their back, Goomba is getting stepped on by Hammer Bro who is about to get a higher jump, and lastly a Dry Bones was crushed by a Thwomp, being left in the bent over "modern mario party" squish pose. Zoomed in angle of Monty Mole. Shows Monty Mole has been squashed flat by a Whomp, and is left in a sprawled out pose on his back as the Whomp is lifting himself back up. Zoomed in angle of Goomba and Hammer Bro. Goomba is looking annoyed as he's being stomped somewhat flat by the Hammer Bro who is looking to get a higher jump from the footstooled Goomba. Third Team Sapphire post: This is Zack the Cyclizar. He is the reliable transport for the team, even having the strength to carry the larger/heavier members. He has also been blessed by both Miraidon and Koraidon to become an avatar of either of them in temporary moments. #Flattening #Flattened

Meanwhile one Machoke is looking surprised and confused at the two new decals on the glass while the other is looking annoyed at the event. (Nyoom the Latias belongs to Fire Yoshi from their PMD character line-up)

Time to slam someone for Throwback Thursday! How? This Smeargle who sketched Wood Hammer to slam that Golduck flat! #Flattened #Flattening
Golduck and Smeargle are positioned and ready for a Pokemon battle. They each look at each other as they stand there. Smeargle uses Wood Hammer, drawing a giant sketchy looking wood hammer. Golduck looks startled at the sudden giant hammer above them! Smeargle let the Wood Hammer slam down, squashing the Golduck flat with ease. Though the hammer covers them mostly, some parts of the pancaked Golduck can be seen sticking out. Finally, showing the results of the Wood Hammer, presenting a very flat and pancaked Golduck. The Golduck is squashed in a mostly round shape with some limbs poking out of shape. The Golduck is stuck in a surprised shocked expression.

Second Team Sapphire post: This is Rico the Piplup. Though he started off anxious and nervous, after graduation he found himself with way more confidence, perhaps even overly so at times. But he still tries to do his best to help. #Flattening #Flattened

With stressful work and the Team Sapphire project, I almost forgot about Throwback Thursday! And since we're on the topic of OCs, here's the introduction post to my squish mascot, Sakura the Delphox! #Flattened #Flattening
Epic Umbreon is introducing his squish mascot, Sakura the Delphox. Epic Umbreon is presenting in a normal neutral way, while Sakura is looking happy to be introduced... for now. Epic Umbreon is walking off as Sakura was suddenly confused by her new title. As Sakura stands there, a shadow of a Groudon can be seen hovering over. Groudon has landed with a loud crash right onto the unsuspecting Sakura, with a small squish sound being barely audible beneath the loud crash. Groudon is sitting in a still primed ground pounding pose while Sakura can barely be seen underneath them. Sakura is now seen completely flattened from the top, looking like she's completely dazed from the impact. Her head is looking up with her glasses in an crooked position, along with her hands being up as well. EPic Umbreon is complimenting Sakura for a good job while Sakura is groaning in pain. There is also Groudon's foot in the background implying they're now on standby.

First Team Sapphire post: This is Riku the Shinx. He is the leader of the team, but does not speak whatsoever. However with the others hanging around him so much, they can understand him decently with just facial and body expressions. He's friendly but a bit of a pushover. #Flattened #Flattening

Side Note: I did do the scene and some set up, a friend did a LOT of tweaks and edits to make the scene and lighting look way nicer. I did a couple of small tweaks after that but they did a lot of the upgrading.

So this was worked on for a while, but thanks to @thefireyoshi.bsky.social for both help with models and inspiration for this idea, I present my PMD cast: Team Sapphire! Wanted to make a PMD story/character cast kind of thing for a while, will post character posts on each one in the near future!

Epic Umbreon is squashed flat in a pose very similar to Spyro from Reignited Trilogy. The Umbreon is blepping a tongue with derpy eyes and stars spinning above his head. Mean Spyro is standing over him concerned, and a Rhynoc is pointing and laughing at the flattened Umbreon. A Metagross is in a mostly flat state, with their body being thin and scrunched up legs. The Metagross table is holding a bunch of various food, with Goodra and Hariyama sitting by enjoying said food.

A dizzy looking Greninja is stuck flat face down and sprawled out underneath a sitting Chesnaught who looks like they're enjoying their flat frog rug seat. A Samuraott is stuck flattened mostly sprawled out and looking up wincing. Serperior can be seen slithering around Samurott, implying they had something to do with squashing the Samurott. Swampert is squashed and spread in a round looking shaping, looking uncomfortable. Sceptile is standing above this Swampert, with their tail hanging above them to imply a tail slam squashed the Swampert. A few boulders rolled through, squashing the Primarina into a bent up pose. The Primarina is completely flattened and looking shocked as Decidueye stands over and looking down at them.

Missed a Throwback Thursday post, so I'm gonna fix that this week! This time I'm feeling like a Latias mood, favorite legendary of mine getting squashed flat. Of course with a bit of Latios doing most of the bullying. #Flattened #Flattening
Latias is seen squashed flat and very spread on the grassy ground in an angered mood as Latios is napping on top of her as if she was a rug. It is implied the 3 rocks in the background were part of how Latias got smooshed. Latias is squashed into mostly a disc, having dizzy eyes and a bleeping tongue. Latios is seen holding the hammer that Latias is stuck to with a satisfied smile. Latios is slamming down rear first onto Latias, who is getting crushed into a very wide and weird flat looking shape. Both Latias and Latios have been stomped and trampled flat by the two Nido Pokemon. Latias is face up with her mouth opened as Nidoqueen stands on her smugly and triumphantly over her flat Latias. Meanwhile Nidoking looks to be still in an annoyed looking state, looking down at the much more annoyed Latios squashed in a face down manner.
