Update with GISTEMP data for May. Fairly big drop in the monthly temperature, which isn't unexpected; and yet still one of the warmest Mays on record. The projection from the smoothing (not physics-based at all!) still inches closer to 1.5 °C for the approximation of the 20-year mean.
