Honestly, every election since Trump’s first run has felt terrifying. Somehow, this feels so much worse. Watching countries that championed themselves as upholders of freedom and democracy hand the keys over to fascists with no resistance has been terrifying to watch

Unfortunately, it looks like the high turnout is coming from historically far-right/right leaning areas 🫠

Oof, yeah that’s a lethal combination of factors heading into an election this important. I’m hoping for the best for Germany because it is absolutely terrifying living through the first stages of fascism here. Rural communities are already being hit hard
