Where can I get a scrappy, sparse, kinda wild grown Christmas tree? I don’t want to go into the actual woods, I just want a tree that looks like I did.

Yesterday I saw three drivers make boneheaded decisions at the intersection near my house within 60 seconds.

Road safety is great and all but not enough people understand that driving is dangerous and deserves your full attention.
Traffic Advisory via HHB

“Why didn’t you help when you heard all the blood curdling screams??!?”

“Oh it’s because I live by a school. That’s just what it always sounds like. How was I to know??”

This is a huge bummer. Even with pretty good private insurance, my yearly out of pocket expenses for diabetic meds are still pretty high. www.cbc.ca/news/politic...

Dear Halifax City Council, I will pay gladly more property tax on my capped property, especially if you can find a way for the city to not look like the bottom of a trash can. Thaaaaaaanks!

Nova Scotians are experiencing WAY more anxiety about their NS Power bills than is necessary.

You don’t have to pay the crazy high estimates! Just pay your normal amount! No one’s getting disconnected. I wish there was some communication about WHEN things might return to normal.

I was just outside talking to a neighbour about the birds we see in our backyards when a frickin OWL (‼️) flew right over our heads!!!

I have never seen an owl in the wild in Nova Scotia. She said we must give off safe vibes.

A HOOK for my PURSE and my JACKET!!

The only options are on the floor or in the way.

I’ve been running errands midday lately, since I’m still off recovering from a concussion. That means I’m getting groceries with seniors and they are NOT having a good time out there.

I can’t stress this enough: take your grandparents grocery shopping. This world is unkind to them.

Did anyone else sign up for the Eco Shift program with Efficiency Nova Scotia? I’m curious how much they turn down the heat during peak events, I already keep my house on the cool side.

I’m no economist or pundit, but I don’t think the government can increase affordability by forcing companies to lower prices. I think they can improve affordability by making it easier for companies to pay us more and by fixing the housing situation.
