How does this work from a legal standpoint? Are you using so little of the movies that you don't have to pay a license fee at all or at least only have to pay a smaller fee? I'm sure some of them are out of copyright, but definitely not all.

Although I am criticizing this aspect, I actually am not mocking the show or SAM in having the interactions with the Kasq when I say the scenes between the two reminded me of this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UY5...

There are ways to make that work w/ further development. More details could complicate & explain why she is as she is & isn't like her makers to any significant degree. But as it stands, she currently makes less sense to me than she did before this episode.

I don't understand how the Kasq would have made SAM the way that she is. She's too different. This is not like the Doctor meeting Zimmerman after years of growth. How could they not make her share their values, even if having a—imperfect—social personality is put over them?

I'll admit that the early SAM scenes really put me off, some of them viscerally so. As the episode went on, more part worked, and by the end I was pleased. But the early stuff still bothers me.

This seems like the type of story Santa Claus should be telling to some children on a beach in Florida.

I still want the First Doctor to be **a** the First Doctor. The entity could have faced final, fatal death and been resurected—like the Master was several times—with the initial life of the this resurected, memory-dreained entity being the First Doctor.

He absolutely should. Be fair. Give Planter a chance to make his case and to discuss other topics. But Sirota must press him on the tattoos.
