The aim of the project is to elucidate the concept of evaluation as it appears in a variety of fields, under the hypothesis that all the cases we are interested in share a feature we call “ineliminability of perspective”.

In the paper we argue that a version of normativism about mental disorder that incorporates assessment sensitivity can help us block three classical objections against this family of views: the “Flippancy Problem”, the “Repugnancy Problem”, and the “Explanatory Problem”. Hope you like it!
