I wish I had better personal plans, I'm just angry, and that anger hasn't found any real solutions or outlets yet.

I'm on the board for a homeless organization. We're prepping for an extreme rise in the unhoused. We work with the local police force (they have been remarkably involved in trying to help in positive ways), but they are also bracing for a disaster.

My kids are looking at leaving the country. My son in law is a veterinarian, so even countries with really strict immigration laws would be happy to have him. My son is going to be an electrical engineer so he'll have those same choices. My husband and I aren't as lucky.

My friends are having get-togethers we're calling "ragefests" to discuss how to get through the next 4 years. It's helping to laugh, cry, and rage with other people.
