Afterwards, when I got the job, the guy said what swung it was that answer. Everyone else went on about getting a high score or a particular fight, but I was the only one who cared about the aesthetic & how the player can be immersed in the game world itself. Interview for a Game Design job & last question asked: "What is the best gaming moment you ever experienced?"
I said it was when I stood still on Hyrule field to watch the sun set, cos it was the first time I ever stopped to 'be in the game world' 🎮

Mine too. Soon as she started being interested in games I wheeled out my N64 and we played through OOT together & it was the most magical time! I also got a job because of it but that's another story!
