Our campaign is built by Brooklyn's own: neighbors, workers, and everyday Brooklynites — not by special interests. I don’t take a dime of corporate money. I’m accountable first and only to the working families of Bed-Stuy and Crown Heights.

Together, we can build a Brooklyn where it’s easy to put people over profit: where every child attends a beautiful school and lives in a good, safe home, where families can enjoy beautiful parks and playgrounds, where our families can live in dignity now and in retirement.

⚕️Healthcare is a human right: We all deserve high-quality healthcare — regardless of employment or immigration status.

It’s time to invest in our public hospitals, in our healthcare workers, and in a system motivated by health justice, not corporate greed.

✊🏾Unions for all: Workers deserve a say in their workplace, period. As a retail worker, I know the power of a union. I served on the bargaining committee of Workers United Local 340, where I fought alongside co-workers to secure — and win — better job security and wages.

🎒Invest in our schools: I am a parent advocate and former PTA president. My wife has worked as a public school teacher for 18 years. I believe all children deserve a world-class public education. That begins with fully-funded public schools and a New Deal for CUNY.

🏘️Beautiful homes: I’ve lived in NYCHA. I know firsthand its power as a force for stability for the working class, and the devastation wrought by its continued underfunding.

We need to pass good cause eviction and invest in beautiful social housing to keep families in their homes.

I know what it's like to support a family paycheck to paycheck, to worry about choosing between rent and medicine. In a time when our families and communities are facing real threats, we deserve a leader who fights alongside us, and puts our neighborhoods first.

Here’s my plan:

Unfortunately, many of our elected leaders are part of the problem — instead of protecting renters and investing in our public schools, legislators in Albany block needed reforms and line their pockets with donations from the real estate and charter school industries.

Every day, working-class families like yours and mine, who make Bed-Stuy and Crown Heights the vibrant, artistic and beautiful communities they are, are being priced out, and watching as schools and life-saving services are gutted to benefit billionaire profits.

Every family deserves to live in a thriving community that puts people first. You shouldn’t have to be rich to get the healthcare you need, send your kids to high-quality schools, or live in a safe, healthy home.
