Merilynne Rush, owner of The Dying Year, is an international pioneer in end-of-life doula education and research. She holds an MS in Hospice and Palliative Studies and a BS in Nursing.

Kelly Oberle is a founding member of EOLD-IRG. Kelly lives in Vancouver, Canada. She is also a Chartered Professional Accountant, an end-of-life doula, a certified Yoga instructor and bed-side volunteer at her local hospice.
