What is EOCIL’s stance on end-of-life legislation and People With Disabilities? We know this is a contentious issue with many moving parts. This report is intended to provide a neutral stance, focusing on policies that are put in place. We do not share this report with any intended personal biases.

Why is this of critical importance now? There are so many pieces of legislation that address medical assistance in dying, and it can be hard to understand, decode and parse through each of them. We at EOCIL wanted to put them all in one place, so that disability leaders, policymakers, activists and everyday disabled people could view them.

To that end, EOCIL has compiled a report “End of Life Statutes in Comparative Perspective”. This educational brief is designed to provide transparency around this topic.

Insightful Who’s is a virtual youth group where we jump on Zoom to hang out, connect, and take part in activities that are not only fun, but also help you learn something new. There’s something for everyone — creativity, conversation, games, and opportunities to explore your interests in a supportive space. Youth with disabilities are encouraged to join. Ages 12–18. Parents & siblings welcome.
