While continuing to build my current Salamanders Kill Team, I wanted an intercessor gunner with the auxiliary launcher. I had the gun piece, but I didn't have the arm that connected to it. So, I had to get creative and did this.

Okay. I'm having trouble taking people seriously. I see people getting wet over this upgrade sprue. What's so special about it? It's just as basic as other upgrade sprues. Only more heads and shoulder pads.

After weeks (maybe months) I decided to glue on the head and call it done.
I want to do a part 2 of Gabriel Seth, using gravis or something that would make him look more imposing.
Next is basing.

Eldritch Foundry's gun selection leaves more to be desired. And the collar is too high for my liking.
Other than that, it's better than anything currently out.

The issue with buying spare Space Marine bodies is that sometimes, the bits get mixed up. There are regular and assault intercessor bodies here, mixed with hell blaster bodies. I might be doing this for a while.

I tried to get some hobbying in today.
First, I got to painting a Steel Legion captain I've had in my backlog for a while. I stopped because I saw a crack in the helmet. It was a resin print.
Then I moved on to this guy. I stopped because I felt like I would struggle with the face.

I want to add some weathering, but I'm unsure as to how. I suck at using washes. I was thinking maybe some dry brushing would do the trick? I know people use pigment powders towards the bottom of minis, but I want to avoid buying anything new.

This is my fourth attempt at a base for an Ultramarine Terminator I painted a few days ago.
Underneath, there are layers of rocks, air dry clay, texture paste and green stuff. I haven't been successful because the debris doesn't allow for a flat surface to stick him to.
