In the sunlit thickets and riverside groves of the Americas, this golden voice flits through leaves like a drop of morning light. It hunts caterpillars and tiny insects among willows and shrubs, moving constantly, rarely still for more than a heartbeat.

February is generally our coldest, snowiest month but forecast by the weather goddess calls for 60f - 48f today. 60f in Alaska, freezing cold for most of the country, including the deep south and Florida. Weather? Ask the russians.

Watching storm Leonardo approaching Andilucia Spain through a video by a creator whom I subscribe. The edge of Leonardo has reached them. Recent storms have raised the water table. Earth works created by the Romans & swales they have built seem to be running at about 75%. We will continue to watch.

Went with cowboy Kent Rawlins recipe for hatch green chili pork stew. No hatch chili here but no complaints from any of the drifters who came by. Long day. I'm tired.

We are fortunate where I live. No damage, but many, lost everything and driving into closed roads due to flood water, cost lives. I cannot begin to know how it feels that you have loved ones, pets on the other side, but you cannot cross.

Interesting press conference. USA to devote 700 million to regenerative Agriculture focusing on soil health, water capturing. Cutting red tape by offering a single application for farmers. There is more on health care, snap, ect.
