At some point I’ll do a thread that overviews the chapters in more detail, so watch this space. But for now, it is going to be an affordable(?!) academic textbook, and please ask your library to buy one!!

The book, really, is designed to be a starting point: a textbook that introduces students (and anyone else who’s keen, too) to a range of frameworks and lenses for studying history and games. It draws on academic researchers and game makers to explore key areas in theory and practice.
