There’s a part of me that really wants to watch all the Oscar nominees for Best Picture, but it’s directly at odds with the other part of me that’s wildly indignant about how movies today are four hours long

I’m becoming increasingly convinced that folks who are against DEI, in large part, are because they don’t truly understand what it means and have it conflated with hiring to fill racial quotas.

Outline DEI examples and they’re all for supporting people that need support, just not “DEI.”

Reading about Netflix’s Sandman cancellation. Every time I see a man, and it’s always men, up in arms about “how dare you take something from another man over *allegations*” what I actually read is, “I have behavior towards women in the past I am uncomfortable with coming to light.”

Time for the annual art/sewing/cosplay room clean-out. This isn’t quite “before,” more like “partway through” but I’m still excited to see the change to “after.”
