As part of the EELU program, 8 @vanderbiltlaw students in the Climate Law & Policy Lab spent the semester investigating Clean Water Act violations in Middle TN. Their work included field visits, legal research, and presenting findings to attorneys from firms and nonprofits!

@vandylaw.bsky.social 3L student Nick Summers has focused much of his time at VLS around EELU courses and experiential learning. He participates in ELPAR, is an EELU Fellow, and will be spending a year clerking for Judge Thomas Parker after graduation this May!

Congratulations to EELU team member Mariah Caballero for being honored with the 2025 Newbrough Graduate Award, based on her recent dissertation "Prioritizing Rural Communities for Reasonably Achievable Emissions Reductions." You deserve it this recognition for all your hard work!

The new Private Climate Governance Lab’s first event will take place on March 18 at @vanderbiltlaw, giving interested students an opportunity to learn about the Lab’s work and the ways in which they can get involved in its projects. We hope you will join us for this event!
