Excited to share what I've been working on @projectdrawdown.bsky.social: A Drawdown Roadmap for Food, Agriculture, and Land Use in Southeast Asia.

Food & land use generate over half of emissions in the region. We identified hotspots of emissions and the most impactful solution for each province.

Neat image released @esa.int shows a glacier flowing into Ross Ice Shelf. The new Biomass mission's P-band radar is designed to penetrate the forest canopy, but it can also penetrate into ice and is less affected by surface characteristics that can skew measurements. www.esa.int/Applications...

New research from NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies finds that the contraction of the world's storm-cloud zones may be a big contributor to the increase in Earth's sunlight absorption.

Very cool to see the expansion of solar in China 🤯

Over the past 6 yrs, their solar capacity surged by ~40k MW per year, whereas in the U.S., capacity expanded by ~8k MW a year.
