The output looks so lovely 🥰 The cost of operating OpenAI ChatGPT-4o-mini is almost non-existent!

The final boss of prompts in Obsidian clipper. I use it with
@bearnotesapp.bsky.social by the way - copy-paste from the clipper works like a charm 🐻

I love a new theme in @bearnotesapp.bsky.social beta – Everforest Light looks absolutely lovely and easy on my eyes. Also, I use @obsidian.md for experiments with OpenAI and Anthropic APIs. Naturally, I wanted to synchronize the look of these two great apps

I wish we had more software like Reason! It’s pure joy to use! Especially after the sterile UI of Ableton Live. It feels like coming back to my roots: I started with ReBirth, then moved to Reason, but later switched to Live. Still, Reason has always been my sacred place of experimentation and joy 😊

Once in a while, I think about Wunderlist. It was such a great app! I've tried MS Todo, but it's meh. Superlist also doesn't have this magical feeling of a well-crafted native app. But thanks to the universe, we have Things!

Question for product designers/managers: what is the best tool for a/b testing in 2024 for small pre-seed startups? A visual editor and a neat pricing model is must. AI is nice to have 👀

This is some of the most depressing shit I’ve read lately. Like, yeah, we designers are totally fucked. But hey, at least we’ve learned how to deal with the constant changes. And trained AI on our designs! But "If you love to design, you’ll find your way"

Today, I received my “Expert” badge!

I know there are so many talented folks out there who’ve created incredible designs. But this milestone motivates me to push myself even further.

For my macOS app project, I use two libraries in Figma: Apple’s official and a custom one I built on top of Tailwind. While I love Apple’s lib, I’ve found it quite limited – especially when it comes to subtle shades. So I now use both

New day, new mockup. Exploring minimized note cards, stacks, tags, and side-by-side notes. Also switched some components to Apple’s UI kit. Next up: a dynamic prototype with view switching and an Actions view.

So, auto layout in @sketch.com before GTA 6?
December 3, 2024 at 8:35 AM
I use auto layout almost everywhere. Even on ideation phase. Why? Because it’s much easier to think about design in terms of boxes for web or stacks for iOS development. Also, adding auto layout is like adding a grid. And as a former graphic designer I really like grids

Next up: transclusion testing. This concept is all about reusing content from one document in another. The best example I’ve seen is in Roam Research, and I really wish Craft had it too!

This prototype was made in Figma

Dark mode is damn hard. The first iteration is okay, but all the grays and the rest of the shades will be tweaked for sure. A life hack - I use ffffff with different amounts of transparency applied. Works like a charm

PS. The active state looks not so good for me

I moved almost all the stuff from Notion DBs to Craft new Collections. Yes, there's no Kanban or other useful views yet, but it's ok. Rome wasn't built in a day
