My library started with a little food pantry outside where community members could leave non perishables. They’ve recently added a refrigerator in the lobby for dairy and fresh fruits and vegetables.

What amazes me, though it shouldn’t, is a lie like this one is so easy for anyone to check for themselves. Instead, people just accept it on face value.

It’s not like the lies about complex scientific concepts that require more time and effort for nonscientists to verify.
