they have a larger community and a more robust staff system to match, but there's a lot to borrow from here. I'm not a member myself but a friend tipped me off to their system

I'd love to have a full mod team if/when the forum gets off the ground. appeals and a thorough look behind-the-scenes of situations are in my playbook.

to add to that: I'm going out of my comfort zone with TKO. I have a personal boundary that I dont interact with minors, unless it's cordial/scheduling scrims, etc.

- think of it like a public park. I might own the land, tend to it, trim the hedges every now and then, but ultimately it's for the community.

wrt politics, as stated it won't be apolitical. the focus will be on splat obvs, but you believe someone doesn't deserve rights, you can go to hell lol. that will be Very Clear

as for it being "my" forum, I'm not approaching it that way. It's OUR forum, the community's forum. -

I'm open about being scared. Decisions are hard, and I've never considered myself someone who *should* be making them.

Despite this, TKO is something I want to do. Even if it flops, I want to try for everyone's sake.
