I’m not convinced one needs to check perceptions. It is a safeguarding issue. Collect the evidence & report it confidentially. Educating healthcare practitioners that certain situations can trigger a mental health check is the key. It’s about patient safety & dignity for the affected practitioner

Typically those exp mental health decline are unaware.The right expert sharing evidenced info in the right place & at the right time: Occ health team + validated evidence of workplace issues imposing a mental health assessment asap. This will be devastating to the practitioner so act with compassion

Great paper for ALL colleagues (especially if working with women in positions of responsibility & leadership). When you find yourself speaking negatively about a woman,check yourself. Women face double standards; intersectionality magnifies this further. We all need to do better.
