It is perfectly legal to know your rights and to educate others about them, too.

EVERYONE in the United States, citizen or not, has rights. I will not allow this administration to intimidate us from helping you know about them.

2nd VP Vance clearly has a fundamental misunderstanding oh how the Judicial Branch and the law generally work. He has a Harvard law degree right? Do they just give those out to anyone? Jesus H Christ, we have some dumb dumbs running this country.

Bravo protest voters! Hope you don't stumble getting down off your high horse!
President Trump on Tuesday suggested Palestinians should be permanently relocated out of Gaza, questioning why they would want to return after swaths of the territory was reduced to rubble after more than 15 months of war between Israel and Hamas.

Protest Voters: "I really don't like how Biden and Harris handled the conflict in Israel, so I just have to vote third party, or I may just not vote at all. That will show them!"

DJT: "Yeah, we are going to move into the Gaza Strip."

Wow, you protest voters really showed them. Way to go! SMH

Stop worrying about the rules since Trump and sycophants threw the rule book out the window. They brought a gun to a knife fight and you all are still sitting there sharpening your butter knives. 2/2

Know what's awesome? The democratic senators and representatives doing nothing right now. A couple of them are out giving sound bites but what are they actually doing? Maybe stop sitting there and actually take some fucking action! 1/2

Democratic leaders after the election: "I don't know what happened, how did we lose?"

Ken Martin:
Democratic Party’s newly elected Chair, Ken Martin: “There are a lot of good billionaires out there that have been with Democrats, who share our values, and we will take their money. But we’re not taking money from those bad billionaires.”

Important economics reminder for all: these tariffs are a tax on US companies paid to the US gov’t. Companies have bottom lines. They’re not going to lose that much margin, especially with shareholders, employees, etc. So that tariff cost is passed onto us: the consumer. Things get more expensive.

I wonder how all those people looking for cheaper eggs feel right now when the guy who was supposed to do that for them on day one is now just simply trying to erase what made America great in the first place. I hope this was all worth it for you.

There is nothing worse than hearing someone say, "Ugh, I hate talking about politics." Or sitting back and saying both sides suck why should I care. Both sides may not be having their best moments right now, but if people aren't challenging them, then they win.
I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

Imagine having such a fragile ego that rather than look for a solution you blame others. He didn't even have to take any blame, he could have just said there was a failure in our system that we are investigating and will be putting all of our resources into making sure this never happens again.

Please watch or listen to the episode. Jon Stewart and @aoc.bsky.social hit it out of the park. After this last election, and even with issues we have with the local party, I have one foot out the door, but I hope for change. Jon got it right. This is now the UFC. The old rules are obsolete.
Jon Stewart and @aoc.bsky.social on the thirst for leadership in the Democratic Party and the need for an actual agenda.

So the government is encouraging people to be freeloaders. I thought they were trying to deport the freeloaders? Also, love the not-so-subtle dig at people in public sector jobs that they are low productivity. When are the adults going to come home to stop the kids' house party?
Federal workers across government just received the following memo that seems intended to cajole them into resigning

So you remember how people were saying they weren't racist and didn't hate women but voted for Trump because he was going to fix the economy and make eggs cheaper? That just meant you were okay with a bit of racism and misogyny so long as your eggs were cheaper.
AP straight up stole my story with zero credit lol
