We've had the most yellow cards in the league for the last couple of years, so it's not news.

It's funny how these things come and go. At one time it was Arsenal, with Viera picking up reds hither and thither, while Chelsea were winning fair play awards.

We could do with learning some restraint.

Well no. I don't know what the Leeds defender had been doing of the ball during the match but this was a daft retaliation, if that's what it was.

If it was a foul to stop a promising attack, he should have copied Arsenal players and simply pulled the shirt.

Usually, he runs back & tackles well.

Thank you

I could find stories of conversions from various religions to Christianity, Buddhism etc. That doesn't change the fact that the vast majority of people accept the religion they're brought up with.
The Jesuits said 'give me a child until the age of seven and I will give you the man'.

Is it available on other platforms? E.g. PocketCast

For personal reasons I'm politely requesting that you delete this post.

An All-Cobham full back pairing? I'm here for it.
James and Hall with Tino subbing in.

Bentancur is entitled to his position on the field. Burn is just pushing through him. Burn is supposed to go around, so it should be a free kick to Spurs if anything. Bentancur was trying to hold his arms wide to indicate he wasn't holding.

I've reviewed the video. Merino receives the pass 9 frames before Moises fouls him. At 25 FPS it is literally a "split second". But, it wasn't as I'd remembered - both players going for a loose ball & the 2nd player there gets carded.
I disagree with YankeeGunner; it was an attempt to win the ball.

I'd rather see players getting red for fouling to break up counter attacks. They do it to deny a goalscoring opportunity and it should be 🟥.
Arsenal did it repeatedly in this game, but Chelsea are guilty too. If teams want the advantages of a high line they should addess the drawbacks legally.

I'm not saying it was the wrong decision either. These days, it's a red, and I've said that already, though apparently not here. It's the idea that it wasn't an attempt to win the ball I disagree with.

A split second the other way and it would have been Merino getting sent off. Lineker reckons it wouldn't have been a foul when he played, and slo-mo makes it look worse to VAR. Both sides were fired up & it's fine margins.

You can get ChatGPT to make almost any argument you want. You can't rely on it; it's just confirming your bias depending on how you prompt it.
If you'd been born into a Christian family you'd probably believe differently than you do now.

I agree that Hincapie on Chalobah was 🟨 but you're wrong about Caicedo's intent. He was just fractionally late with both players at full speed. When I was young that would just have been a foul, but these days it's going to be a 🟥. Don't ascribe malice to that which can be explained by incompetence.

Jesus also warned about many false prophets coming after him, which would include Mohammed, Joseph Smith, Rev. Moon, etc. Most religions do that; it's basic marketing:
Coke - it's the real thing.
Porsche - There is no substitute.

Well, Jesus also read from the scriptures, which were in Hebrew, so he certainly spoke two languages. It's possible that he may have spoken a little Latin, since Judea was occupied by Rome. And it's purely your own invention that a god must be multi-lingual, so it's a straw-man argument anyway.

I can't say I'm unhappy. I hate having some corporate shysters desecrating our shirt with their huge crappy logo, so much bigger than the club badge.
I get that it deprives the club the price of a half-decent midfielder, but I'm enjoying it while it lasts.

Can we have an article on the precedent set by other players who've been provisionally suspended for being sent off?

Thanks for posting this. When I saw it on TV, I couldn't work out which part of Macario's body is supposed to be touching the red line. Even if you extend a line down from her shoulder there's nothing.

This looks as bad a decision as Lukaku in the League Cup Final.

But is fixture congestion the issue? Will more rest help? What does science say?

Women play fewer games than men but have more ACL injuries. Is it something deeper than rest, like the structure of women's bodies, eg pelvis structure putting more strain through the ACL.

I hope they solve it soon.
