I think it could not help but be mobilizing, and that really is the whole point. Plus I love that he read constituents' letters to him. He's one of the few out there with something original to say.

If I had a dollar for every time I have said, “Don’t spout scripted crap everybody already knows…” Unfortunately that’s what most political campaigns consist of, which is why I say it so much. One has to assume, unfortunately, that this condition is due to lack of true vision and creativity.

There aren’t enough eggs, and thus outrageous prices, because of factory farming, which keeps chickens in inhumane, disease promoting conditions. But sure, let’s deflect from recognizing bad agricultural policy. The free range eggs I buy have only gone up about 15%. Cuz all the birds aren’t dead.
