The person who told me this was an operator of a boutique property and said the metric was based on the radius where people stay during major events and the cap on the size of conferences due to room limitations. we all know they’re often empty but it’s more for peaks both planned and hoped for.

A couple years ago a hotel manager told me louisville was “under hotelled” (industry term) by 8-10k rooms and that we could expect a boom in downtown hotels as a result. We’ve got to be getting close now.

Not really! One way is my husband and I both like to cook and WFH a lot. Most of the weekday things are like 15 min-30 min prep and cook time. I use my rice cooker a lot. All breakfasts are 10 min max items. I do not have kids.
