Somehow I doubt Newsom would be deploying the *ARMED US MILITARY* to police American cities, or violating immigration and federal judge’s orders, or <insert thing Trump is doing you seem painfully unaware of here>.

I think you could talk about why it is that people like him and like what he’s doing. We’ve had poor/unresponsive governance for so long that it seems inevitable a figure like him would be able to exploit that discontent.
