Coming soon to Ok Zoomer:
So, there's this zoom mod, and you want to configure it. How do you do that?
There is Mod Menu as well as the /ok_zoomer command, but neither of those are too straightforward;

What if you could open it through a button in the Key Binds menu?

Hm, what if Ok Zoomer's zoom had scrolling sounds?

You have a crook that herds sheep, but what if you don't want it to do that? Well, my config infra still needs a major overhaul, so I decided to improvise!

Introducing Satire Config, a silly config system that works! Drag and drop options to the "disabled" folder to disable them!

Alright, this crook herds sheep, but can this crook do skyblock? Yes it can! It multiplies drops from leaves! (and grass if you have any)

Don't mind me! I'm just herding some sheep with the help of an old friend of mine :p

Coming soon to Ok Zoomer:
One of the biggest complaints was about how zoom scrolling worked; the further you zoomed in, the slower it gets! What if it was more consistent?

Introducing exponential zoom scrolling, an entire new system that finally makes sense for zooming!

Coming soon to Ok Zoomer:
Have you ever wished you could zoom in and actually see animals (and chests) on the distance? Now you can through this new tweak!
Maybe don't zoom too far in though, the animals have this curse of being Far Landed into glitchiness and they may stare back

Hey! Do you want a zoom mod for the Minecraft 1.21.4 pre-releases? I have good news for you:
Thanks to shenanigans, the next Ok Zoomer update for MC 1.21.2 now has complete support for all 1.21.4 pre-releases so far!

Of course, this is Fabric-only but we'll be ready for Norge soon

I thought I was done here, but then I realized I have forgotten a browser; It turns out the quest for bad 50 FPS GIFs, good-enough WebPs and perfect AVIFs meant nothing, because in the end? Chrome slows down *all* animated images with high frame rates! Yeah! Yeah.. (17/19)
November 10, 2024 at 7:49 PM
Now unfortunately, that Firefox issue still strikes sometimes, but when you don't have to compromise frame rate and quality? It does look significantly better than "the JPEG has lagged!", which I'll accept here (15/19)
November 10, 2024 at 7:49 PM
This is how you get the best format for lossy animated images ever; Just use AV1! Use ffmpeg and SVT-AV1, throw "fast-decode" in for good measure, and you can get under 1 MB easily! The CRF may need tweaks though, but it's less of a sacrifice than tweaking WebP's quality (14/19)
November 10, 2024 at 7:49 PM
That was where this story would end, I would have accepted that this would be the maximum I could have, and that was alright! But then the browsers had their own plans, and Firefox's was "i'm gonna throttle this image once in a while"; ouch.. (12/19)
