The EU Ambassador to Russia, Roland Galharague, read the name of Pavel Kushnir, a pianist and political prisoner who died in a Russian detention center in 2024.
The name of Alexei Navalny has already been read twice during the broadcast.

In Seattle, messages from Russian political prisoners Yegor Balazeykin, Artyom Kamardin, and Maria Bonzler were read aloud. In Jacksonville — letters from Vsevolod Korolev, Alexei Gorinov, and Arina Ivanova.

Readings are also taking place in Degtyarsk, Rudnichny, Murmansk, Kirovsk, and Yekaterinburg — at memorials honoring those who suffered under political terror.
So far, the livestream has shown 12 cities in 3 countries, and over 200 names have already been read aloud.

It began with participants laying flowers at the Solovetsky Stone, a monument to the victims of Soviet repression. Among them were diplomats from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, Norway, Switzerland, and EU countries.
