I guess I don’t understand the mechanic fully. You can tap an artifact to help pay, each one reduces the cost by 1, but the card is 1BB so you could only reduce it by 1, so you’d only be able to tap 1 to pay? Unless you can just pay in excess but I thought that was limited to X spells

It has waterbend X but X can only be 0 or 1? So a 2-3 mana spell to gain control of one creature seems…mid? Especially with cards like Thrilling Encore
